Pharrell’s Steps to Success Pt 2 of 3

Filed under: Interviews, Music Industry — Tags: , — Mistah Zee @ 2:22 pm

So true, so many people concentrate on one thing, and one thing only. An example would be music, people listen to only hip-hop because they probably want to go on to be an rap artist, but not knowing inspiration comes form all sorts of music. That’s a very basic example but its true, I always try to be open minded and learn new stuff accept new things and attitudes. Who I am today is basically a reflection of everything I’ve seen, learn and experienced over the years, and I love to experience these new things and absorb the knowledge they have to offer.

Pharrell's Steps to Success Pt 1 of 3

Filed under: Interviews, Music Industry — Tags: , — Mistah Zee @ 2:48 pm

Really nice tips! Learned allot, can’t wait on other parts.

Love the point made about having an idea and being too rigid about how you want it to happen, I always tell people I leave room open for possibilities good or bad.
I also like what he said about not believing an idea so much that you think it will work 100% certainty, some people create ideas that are so far from possible. I personally always keep it withing my reach and when I say so I don’t mean limiting myself but more of being realistic and atleast making moves towards making it reality.
